All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call
his name Immanuel” which means, God with us.
Matthew 1:22-23
This Advent season we are celebrating God’s commitment to be with His people, even at great cost to Himself. Though we forfeited belonging in God's presence by our sin and rebellion in the garden, He has slowly and persistently drawn near – first by filling particular people in particular seasons and then ultimately by sending His Son to close the gap between God and man. We now have access to God because of Christ and want to extend that access to the world.
This year, we will partner with key city reaching movements around the globe to help make God’s presence more available to the world, tending to those who may be tempted to believe that they have been forgotten or overlooked. Come and revel with us in God’s presence as we generously extend His grace and care to the world!
Every dollar brought in this December to the General Fund will go back out, directly supporting the work in West Africa, North India, and Central Asia.*
Telescope Regions
God intends for His glory to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and we are asking Him to make our role as a church body clear in helping those from every tribe, tongue, and nation worship around the throne of God. Given the scope and scale of the task remaining as it relates to reaching the unreached, we prioritize relationships where the Spirit has uniquely stirred our affections and gifted our people. We have taken a “telescoped” approach to loving the nations by generously pouring resources into three specific regions:
West Africa, North India, and Central Asia.
Because of our long-standing relationships with people in these regions, we get to see God’s work on display in uniquely different cultural contexts as each of these beloved brothers and sisters reach the lost and the least in their neighborhoods and cities. Every dollar brought in this December will go back out, directly supporting the work in West Africa, North India, and Central Asia.
West Africa
Since the earliest days of Seven Mile Road, we have been honored to partner with Redeemer City Church in Accra, Ghana through our relationship with Redeemer City to City. Samuel Boateng has been a gift to our church family in his humble, Christ-like leadership and compelling vision for the Gospel to transform the city of Accra. Together, we’re investing in a local church body that hopes to shepherd their community with wisdom and integrity, and Christ-saturated teaching. A key highlight of this partnership has been the medical clinic hosted every year by RCC and the many medical, mental health, and therapy professionals we’ve been able to send to meet physical and spiritual needs. As we grow together, we believe our collaboration will help both cities experience renewal and the transforming love of Christ.
North India
In North India, we are honored to partner with courageous local pastors and church leaders who are faithfully shepherding communities where Christianity is a small and often marginalized minority. Amid strong Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim influences, and in regions where traditional beliefs and caste hierarchies remain powerful, these leaders are nurturing vibrant House Churches, prayer movements, and gospel-centered communities. Many face significant opposition, yet their resilience, boldness, and deep dependence on God sustain a growing church that seeks to bring hope, compassion, and the love of Christ to their neighbors. Through this partnership, Seven Mile Road is investing in local leadership and the life of the church, trusting that together we can help communities experience renewal and the transforming power of the gospel.
Central asia
We are excited to partner with a faithful local church in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, joining together to share the hope of Christ, equip leaders, and serve communities in need within an unreached city. Through God’s providence, we connected with a visionary local leader who longs to see his city transformed by Christ. Together, we are supporting ministry to women in crisis, the deaf community, Afghan refugees, and the planting of underground house churches—all within a predominantly Muslim, unreached context. This partnership embodies a shared passion to see light break through darkness and the hope of the gospel take root where it’s rarely heard.
